I'm twelve years old

I'm twelve years old and getting into the meat trade with my dad I butchered my first alpaca the other day.

Great picture! Most meat cutters today will never learn to do what you're doing.

I didn't know what an alpaca was. I had to look it up. It's sort of like a llama.

Good for you!  But if you are in the USA I don't think you are allowed to use the grinder, bandsaw, slicer, or other power equipment until you are 18.  Stay safe!

RE: I'm twelve years old

I had one like that when I was his age, but it was for metal shop.  Our school district required that in 6th grade, all girls take shop and all boys take sewing.  I don't remember what the girls had to make but I think it was things like bird houses that we boys had to make in 4th grade shop, and we boys had to learn how to make a shop apron like this when we took sewing.  I had that apron I made for over 20 years and I loved it.
