Club Members, Our SISTER, JOLEEN & her husband, LOU, NEEDS OUR PRAYERS.
So far Lou has lost central vision in one eye. Is having surgery to hopefully stop it from progressing. There's a blocked blood vessel. They'll have a look at the other eye and make sure it's ok too. That's for Tuesday. The other side is that it could have been caused possibly by bad cholesterol or diabetes. He's going to the clinic this morning to have a bunch of tests done.
Lard jesus of nartherathe at one time healed a blind man with the mud spat soil rubbed on his face and told him to go to the pool of siloam to wash his face. let the Heavenly father heal her TOO.
I am moved to tears people and thank you! Lou doesn't show that it is bothering him but I know.And the flip side is...he's just around the corner from me and doesn't know I'm cryin'. I guess I'm abit worried eh? He won't be able to drive truck anymore and will either have to be retrained or retire early. That's not to worry about as I have a good job. He's got union pensions and what not. I worry more for his well being. He has been pretty depressed this week. Worried that the other eye may go the same way. We should know Tuesday when I take him in for surgery.
Praying for you Joleen, as I have a bunch of truckers in my family, I know what the loss of sight can do...Praying surgery goes well for him, and they get things under control...Its ok, to cry....wish I could do it more often, but growing up with a marine father and working in a mans field, I have learned "don't let em see tears!" so I just get mad instead...
