4th of July weekend

Well we have a big weekend coming up. What are we pushing to get sales up? I'm going with T-bones, P house, 1/4 loins, chops, Country ribs, and whole Fryers. I'm stocking the case as full as I can get it. I have 2 big campgrounds near my store, and I get a lot of campers coming in each day. More salesmeans more $$

oooh crap..thats this weekend???  June sure went by fast didn't it?  I know this week our advertment is whole strips, family pack strips, whole fryers cheap, country style ribs  whole beef tenderloin...but i am disappointed...i think my boss lady must not have realized it was already going to be 4th of july weekend because she could have put spareribs on sale too along with ribeyes..those are the only few grilling Items we are advertising this week...the rest is bunch of crap that noone buys for the grill.  huh..  well thanks for reminding me cuz no i plan to push shortloins and ribeyes too.  I want to sell the crap out of it.

Chuck patties, Ribeyes and some frickin ridiculously awesome albacore tuna loin and fillet. All perfect for the grill. We'll blow through all the grill ready stuff even if it isn't on ad.

Whole Bnls Pork loins

I never could figure out why, back in the dim mists of time when I was just getting started, my manager always, without exception, featured whole boneless hams of some kind for the 4th of July ad.

i get boneless hams advertised in the summer too..we don't have them advertised this week but they were for memorial day. you can slice those thicker and they are good for grilling.

Im making some fresh Jalapeno Sausage for the lake traffic this weekend. Jalapenos , Fresh Cilantro, cummin , garlic , salt and pepper . Its awesome and a big hit with the out of towners. Sell for $3.99/lb and get a 47% over retail margin out of it .
