What was your first place

well i had a dumb phone call come in today. oneof the girls handled it. first lady is interested in whole tenderloin...girl runs out and grabs one tells the lady on the phonei its like 80 dollars.  ..so then a minute later the girl is asking me if we have any strip steaks.  i was already a little irritated.  and I looked at her like  "huh? the lady on the phone wants to know if we have STRIP Steaks?"  I mean I was tired and cranky and at the moment that was a really dumb question because we have whole strips on sale and  every five minutes I got to cut one for someone.  what kind of meat dept doesn't sell strip steaks?  but then i felt bad and it occurred to me that the poor girl didn't know strip steak and new york strip are the same thing so I apologized and explained the lady meant new york strip which the girl is familiar with.  ..Then later which I believe was the same lady from the phone call shows up...asks me to pick a nice strip out of the case for her. I find her a perfect one. she tells me to cut it for her 3/4s of an inch i say yes ma'am.  i go back and start cutting it then that same girl who answers the phone comes to me.  she says the lady would like to see more strips ...well i was glad she stopped me right before i opened this one..so i go get a box of strips priced up and let her sift through them. then she asks the deli girl while i am standing there which one is better the one he is about the cut or one of these?    and the girl gave her an opinion other than the one i gave her and I was floored.  and by the way it was not as nice as the one i picked out for her. so anyway after i finished cutting the strip for the arrogant hag.  I took the deli girl aside and I said next time you tell a customer something different than what I just told them I going make you cut it for them because I must not know what the hell i am doing compared to you.
