THE MEATCUTTERSCLUB was founded in Aug of 2003 by Leon Wildberger, Leon at the time was a 41 year veteran of meat cutting,  He had been surfing the internet looking for meat web sites and meat chat rooms to pick up merchandising tips. Although he was a 41 year vet he knew you never learn everything about meat cutting as something new came about almost every day. So being unable to find the type of meat sites he was looking for, he built his own, THE MEATCUTTERSCLUB.
He first built the site on MSN groups, the Club was there for six years, When MSN closed down their groups, He move the site to Google Sites, The Club grew quickly, taking in members from 18 countries, Becoming a fast growing voice in the Meat Cutting Industry, A member, fdarn, with web site skills became the Club's Webmaster, the Club was moved to MEATCUTTERSCLUB.COM in May 2011,

It's Goals is to pass down to the younger meat cutter all parts of the meat cutting trade, from hanging beef to box beef. To give the young beginners an edge in the business to become one of the best in the meat cutting trade.

To give them the chance to watch and learn from meat cutting video's for free, a message board to ask any questions they have about meat cutting, these questions are answered by meat cutters with years in the meat cutting field at not cost. The meat cutters in THE MEATCUTTERSCLUB feel it's their duty to past the meat cutting trade on to the younger cutters.

To offer a social network for meat cutters and meat industry people to come together and have their place to talk with others in their trade, ask questions or to get support on problems at work.

To give every meat cutter a voice in our trade, To express his ideals how to make the trade better.

To unify the meat cutting contests in America so one meat cutter from over 237,000 meat cutters can have the chance to carry the title, " MEAT CUTTER OF THE YEAR "

To offer the meat industry a way to communicate with the meat trade around the world in a no-nonsense cost effective manner, If you are looking to target anyone from small independent meat cutters to major meat processors,

You've written it in third person I'm not so sure I wouldn't just write it like an auto biography after all it is your story. And a very unique one at that.

Hi Leon,

Site looks good except for the forementioned corrections . As an injured worker in the meat trade, I think it would be great to add to the page, that a few of us may have been through the Worker's Compensation Game, and having survived it, may be able to give some opinions and tips, before any of our other brothers and sisters , have thier livelyhood completely taken away, the sooner these new injured worker's get answers (not from the insurance company) the sooner they have a chance to get fixed, healed, and get back to work. I am available to answer questions, I am not a lawyer, I just have real life experience.

thats a great idea imainjured why not write down a little article for us and i ll put it on the site. just a little advice column sort of thing so injured workers know what to expect.

I too went through the workers comp game a few years ago and it was a real hassle.  as soon as I came back after my 3 months of recovery I started looking for a new job I didn't want to be part of that company anymore they don't make any effort to take care of their employees

Where did you go to college? My brother got his degree in advertising at San Jose State.

Why are you not working in the advertising industry?

I think the site is pretty good. Anyone in the business who has a small amount of pride in their profession should like it here.
