yeah stop and shop and giant are the same thing....thats the company i used to work for. alot of the cutters who were making 30 or more have been pushed into early retirement by now. they made everyone parttime at the store i was in.
and dont forget the market managers are close to 36 and hour i think. having lived in ct for the first 25 years, it is way expensive to live there and everything that goes with it. most of thier cutters are part time and been with s+s for years. it can be a harsh work environment.
i applied at one of the HTs in charlottesville that was just opening but i didn't get it. i guess they had too many cutters applying..don't matter though i am back in michigan. guess i got out of there just in time. when i left they were really spreading us out..had me working seafood, meat dept and lunch meat all the way on isle 1 at the same time. and customers were getting pissed because i was never where they needed me..sorry i never learned to be in 3 places at once.
those folks who were making that been with the company 25 years or more when it was a best place in the world to work. they used to really take care of their employees now they just screw them.
