About the atmosphere of small coffee shops

I recently noticed that coffee shops are becoming more like places to socialise rather than just places to get coffee. What do you think is the secret to the cosy atmosphere of such establishments?

RE: About the atmosphere of small coffee shops

I completely agree! The atmosphere is a combination of details: the aroma of fresh pastries, dim lighting, the right temperature, and even the way the food is displayed. I worked in a small café for a while, and we used special heated display cases to keep the food fresh. That's when I came across https://mcdonaldpaper.com/skyfood-fwd3t-9p-18-5-inch-countertop-heated-display-case-w-3-shelves — they have great equipment for food businesses. Things like this really change the customer experience, because even a bun served warm creates a feeling of care. And that's the main thing — when a place doesn't just sell coffee, but creates an atmosphere that makes you want to come back.
