The Governor of Michigan approved a day where everyone should not eat meat. This caused heavy protest from farmers and packing plants I saw this on the news last night and the governor issed a statement after protests began saying she meant no harm. She was just trying to promote "heathy" eating.
I heard this is a veggie group thing and after one day, lets do two days, then another and another. the Veggie folks are pushing this from what I have read.
