Tops Introduces the StakBurger

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — Tops Holding Corp. has introduced a new proprietary burger.

The StakBurger contains seasoned pork sandwiched between two layers of lean ground chuck. It is available in three seasoned pork flavors: toasted onion ranch, zesty Mexican and Tops signature Italian.

 

“An incredible new taste for your grill,” Tops states in promotional materials.

 

The StakBurger is made in-store daily, and sells for $4.99 a pound. Tops offered an introductory coupon for $1 off one pound or more.

nothing new. we used to make our own with leftover sausage and store trim... the key is to put salami and cheese in with the pork and them grill them.

We used to be able to get a burger sandwiched between thinly sliced ribeye steak.
It was one of the best things I ever out on a bun
