Buying a Butcher Shop

I have kicked around starting a shop vs. buying an establshed shop, and according to my situation I think buying is the way to go.  With that in mind I have been trying to get as much info/advice on the following:

1. Lessons learned.  I would imagine that there are several members that have bought a butcher shop, and could offer some advice on evaluating the physical structure and equipment, reviewing financials, and evaluating the market.  If anyone can offer any advice I am greatly appreciative

2. Resources for finding butcher shops that are for sale.  I have looked online at the sites that list businesses for sale, and while there are several that look promising I was hoping that there might be a resource that is more butcher specific.  I am looking all across the US right now, and I am open to buying anywhere - as long as it meats (ha ha!) my requirements.  Are there any services that can do a more in-depth search of business for sale according to my criteria?

RE: Buying a Butcher Shop

Thanks Leon - I had already found the first link, but acquireo is new, and their search results look more like what I am looking for.  Very cool!

Amazing site, and I wish that I would have found it sooner!
