In some instances, CBD can be used to treat epileptic seizures.

In 2018, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the use of CBD under the brand name Epidiolex to treat seizures resulting from Lennox-Gastaut syndrome and Dravet syndrome—two rare forms of epilepsy—in patients at least 2 years old https://trans4mind.com/counterpoint/index-health-fitness/vape-cbd-oil.html.

Three well-vetted studies provide the basis of support for the FDA’s decision. In these trials, 516 patients with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome or Dravet syndrome received either Epidiolex or a placebo. Epidiolex, when taken along with other prescribed medications, decreased the frequency of participants’ seizures compared to the placebo.

This is why CBD should be widely available to everyone.

Research about the relationship between CBD and seizures is still in the early stages, although scientists believe that CBD interacts with the neurotransmitters from the endocannabinoid system. As a result, bodily functions can improve, such as sleep, appetite, and immune response. CBD also helps manage stress, anxiety, and pain. I’m glad we’re at a point where we realized that traditional medicine and treatments don’t help everyone, and we should look at other types of medication. Still, if you experience seizures, please consult a neurologist first because anti-seizure medicine can negatively impact your brain if the dosage is not right. Also, it’s best to find a reputable CBD distributor that sells natural products.

Hi there, guys. Sorry for bringing this thread back to life. Long story short, my doc has recently prescribed me taking CBD oil to relieve pain in my muscles during training. What brand would you recommend? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hey there, no worries about bringing this thread back to life! I'm new on this forum too, so it's all good. CBD for pain relief is definitely a popular topic these days. As for brands, there are so many out there! Personally, I've tried a few and have had good experiences with Charlotte's Web and Green Roads. But everyone's body is different, so what works for me might not work for you. My advice would be to do some research and read reviews online before making a purchase. Also, make sure to talk to your doc and follow their dosage recommendations. Hope this helps!
