Is solo a good way to travel?

For the past 20 years, my wife and I have mostly gone on vacation together by train. Next year she decided to go on vacation with her sister, which means that I will go on vacation alone. Although over the years we have met many lonely Amtrak travelers, and they seem to be perfectly happy. it would be a new experience for me. Is it interesting and pleasant to travel alone? Does it ever give you a sense of isolation or is it always fun? Just looking for opinions before taking the plunge.

I, too, have always been afraid to go somewhere alone, but it turned out that it was not so scary

RE: Is solo a good way to travel?

Hi, as a person who almost always travels alone, I want to say that it's very fun. You don't depend on anyone's desires, and you can do absolutely anything you want. Of course, traveling with a loved one is great, but you need to be sure that you can be just as pleasant and fun alone with yourself. I advise you to pay attention to sites like https://www.freetour.com/barcelona; all interesting tours and excursions are collected there. Good luck to you, and don't be afraid of anything

Traveling alone is great. You will get the chance to discover new places and new people and last but not least, you will get to know yourself better. There is nothing to be afraid of. Traveling solo is absolutely safe as long as you don’t go to places where it’s dangerous to go overall. You might feel a bit uncomfortable initially, but you’ll get used quickly. My last solo trip was to Germany, where I traveled by train (https://www.dbauskunft.com/de/), and it was exceptional. Especially with the German trains and their well-developed railway system.
