Does anyone here have any experience using a resume writing service?

There was a thread on here a few weeks back with fellow baws talking to each other about their current job searches. One of them suggested hiring a resume writing service to help yours stand out more so that is what I am looking at doing. There are a few like TopResume and ResumeWriters that offer other packages including an updated cover letter and updated LinkedIn profile so I am trying to see what everyones experiences are with this before I fork over a nice sum of cash. Any recommendations or descriptions of experiences using these services are appreciated.

I had some experience using a resume writing service, and I approached them a couple of times when I struggled to create my own CV because I didn't have the proper skills for resume writing. Some of these services are really great. Suppose you are thinking about addressing this kind of service. In that case, I recommend you to search for the service reviews first to ensure that you will pay to the professionals and not scammers or nonexperienced writers because not all copywriters have the proper skills to create a good CV.
